How It Works

Hydro resources liquidity from our Magma marketplace and makes sure your node can always receive payments.

TL;DR

  1. Activate Hydro notifications (opens in a new tab)
  2. Load prepaid credits into your account (opens in a new tab)
  3. Define your liquidity automation preferences (opens in a new tab)
  4. Sit back and relax; we'll handle the rest! 🧘‍♂️

Steps

  1. Amboss will provide update notifications as we purchase channels for your node. Enable Hydro notifications in your account settings (opens in a new tab).

  2. Don't forget to load up on credits (opens in a new tab)! Hydro streamlines the liquidity buying process, freeing you from the hassle of manual invoice management and liquidity monitoring. Once we've got your liquidity sorted, we'll just deduct the cost from your credits.

  3. It's time to tailor your Management Plans! Define how and when you want us to boost your node's liquidity. Hydro offers four customizable plans to fit your needs. Dive into the details of each here (opens in a new tab).

  4. Hydro keeps an eye on your Management Plan criteria. When conditions align, we spring into action and you'll be informed about every step we take in bolstering your node's liquidity, including plan activation, channel requests, and the outcome of channel openings, ensuring your credits are utilized or reimbursed accordingly.
